My Story
With nearly 20 years of hands-on experience in construction and renovation across Europe, I bring both precision and practicality to every Amsterdam home I work on. My background—from building hotels in Poland to restoring canal houses in Haarlem—has taught me how to combine modern efficiency with respect for traditional Dutch design.
For example, one recent project involved transforming a narrow Amsterdam bathroom into a bright, waterproof space with hidden storage and improved ventilation. My experience allowed me to anticipate the building’s older plumbing and insulation challenges, saving the client both time and unnecessary costs.

About me
Maksym Lezhakov
Originally from Ukraine, I've been working in the construction industry since 2010. My journey began in Poland, where I specialized in kitchen design and furniture installation, before moving to the Netherlands, where I've been perfecting my craft for the past 5 years.
I started as an assistant builder working alongside architect Henk Rekers, where I learned the fundamentals of structural work, electrical systems, and heating installations. Over the years, I've managed teams and built hotels, restaurants, and private homes, gaining expertise in every aspect of construction.
Currently based in Haarlem, I work as a private entrepreneur specializing in home renovations throughout the Randstad. My experience with Dutch building standards, combined with my international background, allows me to deliver quality work that meets local requirements while bringing fresh perspectives to every project.
As a married father of one, I understand the importance of creating functional, comfortable living spaces. I don't drink alcohol or use drugs, ensuring clear judgment and reliability on every project. My family values drive my commitment to treating your home with the same care I'd give my own.
